Over the course of each year we create quilts from donated fabric, to give to a specific charity. We ask for all those that can to contribute in any way you can. Be it piecing a block/s, sewing blocks together, quilting, or binding. Many hands make light work and very happy recipients. Please ask Tammy for information at our next meeting, or send us a message.
Here are some previous quilts and patterns we have used in the past.
2018 CHARITY BLOCKS
Scrappy 9 patch blocks using low volumes. Have no idea what that means, no worries, we found a great tutorial.
You can strip piece and do a bunch of blocks or just make one. We’re using 2.5″ squares and making a 6.5″ unfinished block. We’ll also need some 6.5″ low volume blocks. Bring any finished blocks to our weekly meeting.
We’ll be dedicating our September Meeting to sew some quilt tops. Any questions contact Barbie thequiltingmill@yahoo.com
